Related To Mount Agung Eruption, Don’t always victimize the Employers

Impact of determination of level 4 of Mount Agung since the last 22 September, then was erupted in the end of November has been felt by many sectors. Solving the problem, He told all elements that consist of trade union, business owners and government have to meet. “We should looking for a win win solution, the 80% of Balinese revenue is come from tourism sector, don’t let many victims occurs cause of that problem,” added him. The discussion purposes both to prevent mass layoff, the employees also paid accordingly minimum wage that has been determined by Bali Provincial Government. “Don’t let the reduction nor delay of wage happen,” told him. Furthermore, he also appreciated governor invited all consul general in Bali and explained the clearly condition of island that was expected they could follow up the news to their countries. Meanwhile, society and social media user’s role in particularly is most important, through spreading positive information and stop sharing hoax related to Mount Agung condition.

Previously, Head of Labor and Energy and Mineral Resourches, Luh Made Wiratmi, said that massif news of Moun Agung Eruption has influenced working world of Bali. “Shared hoax information is the most influenced,” said her. So she urged all society and especially the youth in field to don’t join in spreading unclear information.  “It has a big impact on tourism, because that sector is very sensitive,” added her.

Wiratmi also explained the role of the agency to participant that most of them come from Dwijendra Vocational School. She invited students who are actually ready to work to diligently seeking job information, and Agency of labor always facilitating for job seekers. According to her, the Agency routinely organizes Job Fair three times a year, while in 2017 has been offered about 3.400 job vacancies. “Only 1.500 Balinese who applied, where the rest are?” told her. She also explained Agency of Labor holds work training routinely in accordance of the needs. “For the youth don’t assume work is Jadi anak muda jangan pikir Cuma jadi PNS atau tenaga kontrak saja, di luar sana banyak lapangan pekerjaan,” imbuhnya. Bahkan menurut dia, Program Bali Mandara selama ini sudah mengirim 500 tenaga kerja untuk bekerja di luar negeri, khusus bagi tenaga kerja kurang mampu.

In that morning, the representative of Dwijendra school, Sintya Maheswari spoke about the positive and negative impacts of technology information. According to her, many negatives impact occur like spreading hoax and hate speech. Meanwhile, many positive impacts will be felt such as ease to access any information and increasing of revenue through selling on line. So she invited young generation to be wiser using technology. At the moment, the school also performed some choir and modern dance. (PM)
