Mount Agung Allert Is Lowered to level Three “Alert”

After 37 days has been set at highest at level four “danger” since September 22, finally Indonesia’s Volcanology centre lower the status becoming level three “alert” on Sunday (29/10) in 4.00 pm. It was conveyed by Head of PR and Protocol Agency on the press conference in Denpasar on Sunday (29/10). 
 
"According to data visual and seismicity result as well as considering threat of danger potential which had been noted by the authorization, so since 29/10/2017 at 4 pm, the volcano’s status has been lowered from level four “danger” to level three “alert”,” said Dewa Mahendra in a statement. 
 
Dewa Mahendra added, although the volcano’s activity has been lowered to level three (alert), but the volcano activity has not completely calmed down and there is still a potential for an eruption. After the volcano status has been lowered, so the exclusion zone also decreased from 12 km to 7,5 km and 9 km to 6 km in some areas. 
 
"Village that are included red zone about 6 – 7,5 km from the crater, are Br. Belong, Pucang, dan Pengalusan ( Ban Village); Br. Badeg Kelodan, Badeg Tengah, Badeg Dukuh, Telunbuana, Pura, Lebih dan Sogra (Sebudi Village); Br. Kesimpar, Kidulingkreteg, Putung, Temukus, Besakih dan Jugul (Besakih Village); Dusun Br. Bukitpaon dan Tanaharon (Buana Giri Village); Br. Yehkori, Untalan, Galih dan Pesagi (Jungutan Village); and part of Dukuh Village. So that, about 47 thousand inhabitants that from these villages should been living in shelter,” added him. 
 
Regarding the alert level of Mount Agung has been lowered to level three “alert”, so that beurocrate comes Buleleng said that peoples whose homes are located further than 7 kilometres could return home. 
He also appealed to villagers around Mount Agung should stay calm and always be alert. Furthermore, community should follow the officially instruction from government to avoid the misscommunication. (PM).
