Visiting Governor, South Korean Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Entrusts the Security of Bali

After attending the first meeting of Dialogue for High Cooperation Strategy in Jakarta last Monday, South Korean’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lim Sung-Nam visitedBali Governor Made Mangku Pastika in governor’s office, on Wednesday (8/2).


Even though there is no any special agenda, Lim felt riquire to visit Bali as world’s tourism destination with 150 thousand visitors per year from South Korea. Evenmore, there are 700 Korean people who stay and working in Bali. "I expected Bali will always be secured, so Korean residents will feel more comfortable staying in Bali,” said Lim who was accompagnied with interpreter from South Korean Embassy for Indonesia.

Bali governor Made Mangku Pastika appreciated the visit of South Korean Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs which became as good relationship form between these two countries. "So far the relationship between these two countries, especially Bali and Korea is good. Each year the Korean people both for spending holiday and for working are raising to come to Bali,” said Pastika.

Evenmore Bali island and Jeju island are members of tourism islands of ITOP (Inter-Island Tourism Policy Forum). These two governors had visited each other in the past. "I expected for the future more Korean people visit Bali and vice versa,” added him.

Related to security, thatformer head of Bali provincial police guaranteed Bali as one of most safety region in the world. (PM)
